“Wouldn’t it be amazing if you could have a helmet that could fold down like a piece of origami and fit in your pocket?” Ventete introduces a micro-collapsible helmet that uses air, not foam, to protect riders.
With societal shifts in transportation, Ventete’s aH-1 is a certified inflatable bicycle helmet engineered for modern urban mobility. Built with 11 connected air chambers, it uses a multi-patented pneumatic structural system that allows deeper compression for impact absorption—tested to exceed CE/UKCA EN1078 standards, with additional research at Imperial College London’s HEAD Lab for linear and rotational impact mitigation.
When not in use, it deflates to 10% of its size, folding down to under 4 cm (as thin as a laptop) for easy storage. A USB-C mini pump inflates it in 30 seconds, while an on-helmet pressure indicator ensures safe inflation. Crafted from three-layer impact-resistant nylon, reinforced with fibreglass ribs, it stays lightweight, breathable, and remarkably cool in use.
