The Antoine de Ruffi School – architectural symphony!

TAUTEM Architecture and BMC2 Architects use geometrically sculpted facades and a bold architectural vocabulary to design the Antoine de Ruffi school building in Marseille. This low-rising monolith at the junction of two roads combines massiveness and minerality and follows a bio-climatic design. Built in clear concrete, between the pearly whites and the beige of the shell limestone sand, the building is cast in place and without joints. Its low-carbon, light-coloured concrete façades are sculpted and provided with deep overhangs that shield the interiors from the sun.
