Rethinking Balcony Railings Through Integrated Façade Design

Integrated railing system streamlines high-rise construction while opening expansive uninterrupted residential views.

Novatech introduces Vertika, an integrated railing system designed for multi-unit residential buildings and high-rise developments. Developed as part of the Studio all-aluminum patio door system, the solution incorporates the safety railing directly within the sliding door assembly, eliminating the need for separately installed exterior guardrails or Juliet balconies.

While integrated glass railing concepts are increasingly visible in premium Indian residential projects, most continue to function as coordinated yet separate façade and balustrade systems. Vertika positions itself differently through a unified engineered assembly installed entirely from the interior, reducing dependence on scaffolding and exterior access equipment.

The system aims to optimise usable floor area, maintain cleaner façade lines, and maximise outward views—reflecting broader global shifts toward prefabricated, efficiency-driven residential façade systems.
