"Humble House R Architecture indiaartndesign"

In designing this home for an Indian ceramist, R Architecture depicts that scaling down can offer a refined, unassuming aesthetic that advocates for the joys of stripping away excess and living simply with ease. Spread over approximately 800-square-metres of sloping terrain with views of the horizon, on a quiet street dominated by large family homes mainly belonging to the 1960s and 1970s era, this predominantly single-storey home captures the essence of traditional Indian architecture – open courtyards and lots of shared space.
