Commemorating their 20-year collaboration, Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami showcased 11 unique handbags that translated Murakami’s playful, hyper-saturated universe onto the maison’s Capucines silhouette. Standouts included the Capucines BB Golden Garden, referencing his Chrysanthemum compositions; the Panda Clutch studded with over 6,000 rhinestones; the Capucines Mini Mushroom with its surreal forest tableau; and the Tentacle and Eye variants echoing motifs from his studio practice.
