DIG Architects translate Indian artistic traditions into a contemporary architectural language at this Mumbai high-rise. Designed for a 6,000 sq. ft. twin apartment, the home draws upon Indian artistic traditions to shape its architecture, furniture, objects and ritual spaces into one coherent design language.The living room establishes this language through carefully composed architectural volumes. Two independent cuboids anchor the space while a portal frames them into a unified composition, preserving their individual identities as a study and bar.
