For KPIT, a global technology company, Designer’s Group creates a distinctive and stimulating workspace in Pune, combining smart spatial planning with a strong design language that serves to foster creativity…

The two-lakh-square-foot office space sectioned across three blocks in a lush green campus has floor-to-ceiling windows that grant expansive views of the serene surroundings while admitting ample natural light into the office spaces. At the same time, the design language is largely introverted."view from behind staircase KPITOffice DesignersGroup indiaartndesign""breakout area KPITOffice DesignersGroup indiaartndesign""executive lobby KPITOffice DesignersGroup indiaartndesign""corridor KPITOffice DesignersGroup indiaartndesign"

Roomy interior layouts follow an open-plan and host workstations enabling employees to interact freely with each other, whilst plenty of intersections and well-furnished designated spots serve as informal meeting spaces enabling a more relaxed work environment. Besides, cabins, cubicles, and meeting rooms at each level cater to quick private meets."workstations KPITOffice DesignersGroup indiaartndesign""workstations KPITOffice DesignersGroup indiaartndesign""workstations KPITOffice DesignersGroup indiaartndesign""meeting room KPITOffice DesignersGroup indiaartndesign""KPITOffice DesignersGroup indiaartndesign""Conference room KPITOffice DesignersGroup indiaartndesign"

A largely industrial aesthetic prevails. Functionality is paramount and anchors the formal yet lively visual language. KPIT’s brand colours, blue and green, reflect in the colour palette. Multi-hued graphics that adorn the columns add an element of vibrancy within, while carpeted corridors impart elegant appeal. Exposed brick, concrete and industrial fit-outs lend raw appeal that balance out with vibrant hues in soft furnishings, expansive areas, false ceilings at places and the outside connect as a constant energiser. A combination of industrial and accent lighting ensures the ideal lux setting that mitigates fatigue and is conducive to the long hours associated with the work discipline of KPIT.

Monotony is broken by varying the work-pool layouts on each floor and imbuing the spaces with striking design elements. One such distinct feature is the skylight that connects all the levels and space below it serves as a multifunctional area to conduct meetings, presentations, and host formal gatherings. Another striking design gesture is the massive asymmetrical wooden staircase that connects two floors."lobby KPITOffice DesignersGroup indiaartndesign""cone KPITOffice DesignersGroup indiaartndesign""cafeteria KPITOffice DesignersGroup indiaartndesign"

A unique conical structure heralds the experience centre and its domed ceiling, and the cafeteria is humungous. It offers a variety of seating options, can seat 2000 people, and can double up as the perfect venue to host small office functions or impromptu get-togethers.

In essence, functionality and aesthetics seamlessly merge in this office, providing employees with an environment that is comfortable, motivating, and conducive to working efficiently.
