Emphasising horizontality, materiality, and a deep-rooted connection with tradition, We Design Studio designs this Bengaluru villa as a contemporary memoir of yore. This two-storey house sits on a 22,000-square-feet parcel of verdant land in the heart of bustling Bengaluru. A culturally potent and sustainably envisioned ‘otla’ - a semi-covered verandah - outlines the structure, geometrically reinforcing the horizontality of the landscraper from the elevation itself.
