Creo 13 brings AI assistance directly into everyday design workflows today.
PTC introduces Creo 13, the latest version of its CAD platform, with an AI Assistant integrated directly into the design environment. Instead of searching manuals, forums or training resources, users can ask questions within the software and receive guidance on workflows, best practices and troubleshooting in real time. The tool is designed to support both new and experienced users, helping teams navigate unfamiliar tasks and reduce onboarding time.
A beta feature extends this capability by reading data directly from 3D models. The system can surface design insights, flag potential issues, assist with compliance checks and retrieve key project information on demand. Alongside improvements to simulation, manufacturing and model-based design, the release signals a shift towards AI becoming an active participant in the design process.
