Downtown Dubai’s 302-metre Wasl Tower redefines the high-rise through a ceramic facade engineered for passive climate control. High-rise construction in hot climates has long depended on sealed glass envelopes and energy-intensive cooling. Wasl Tower proposes an alternative through a climate-responsive skin, with a form that morphs along its height to reduce solar exposure.
