Our cover story this week is about studio MVRDV’s new skyscraper. The building endorses the studio’s multi-disciplinary, collaborative design process that involves rigorous technical and creative investigation providing an agenda for architecture and urbanism by envisioning the city of the future. Is this the kind of history-in-the-making? With architects around the world doing their bit to add to the architectural trajectory unique to every city, every nation, yet underlined by a global thought-process, it will be interesting to delve into documenting this thought. Perhaps, some day.

Thoughts and actions need to be explored, researched, and decoded; especially those that have a direct impact on our every day. Our round-table last week hosted a discussion on the Ecosystem of Demolition, where eminent architects Seema Puri and Amit Gupta, structural engineer Syed Mohammad Adnan and demolition expert Piyush Gandhi explored and attempted to decode the subject on a macro level.
