Just a fortnight of its
existence and the awesomeness of having so much under a single roof – or should
we say, a micro-city in itself, is overwhelming visitors. The staggering floor space of nearly 19 million square feet
with two underground levels and 18 storeys above ground, plays host to a
network of office spaces, retail establishments, hospitality outlets, a central
plaza, two 1,000-room five-star hotels, an ice-skating
rink, a 14-screen IMAX theater, and an artificial beach right in the middle of
the building. The 5000 sq. mt. ocean park with a 400-meter-long indoor
“beach,” and 7,000 sq m seaside wooden docking station, replete with
the world’s biggest LED screen in the background is a treat for anybody and is
being heralded as the USP of the Centre.
