Poetry in architecture| Monochrome whimsy| Culling out classical neutrals| and more

Dear IAnDians,

Architects are dreamers; that there is poetry in form, rhythm in application, sensitivity in material is but a deep thought process waiting to be unravelled.

Ar. Jean Verville, who is known to transform many an abstract musing into a work of beatific built form, blurs the line between art, architecture and domesticity with three installations that explore diametrically different aspects of how the human body and mind interact with its built surrounds. A clever juxtaposition of planes and colour play the field in his interiors, illustrating the finer nuances of Jean’s approach.

I’ll leave you to take in the sensitivity without saying more… And of course, there are other interesting stories – home fashion trends for one that will keep you engaged.

More next week!

Warmly,

Savitha Hira
