Naked House – a space undraped!

With every element stripped to its bare essentials, MuseLAB designs Naked - an unconventional bachelor pad in Mumbai, boldly exploring stark minimalism in architecture. Two one-bedroom apartments merge to form the linear 1000-square-feet plan suffused with Scandinavian charm. Expansive windows allow unobstructed views of the cityscape, bathing the space in natural light. Akin to a pavilion 15 floors above ground, the residence draws inspiration from Philip Johnson’s Glass House. Demolishing walls that divide, and relegating them to the periphery, the studio achieves a completely open layout. A central living space splits the plan into ‘cook and eat’ and ‘sleep’ zones. […]
