ZHA designs a cultural centre where movement seamlessly shapes architecture, from landscape to auditorium. Movement becomes the organising principle of this cultural centre at Songshan Lake in Dongguan. Plazas, terraces, promenades, and interior foyers unfold as a continuous architectural landscape, dissolving conventional boundaries between architecture, public realm, and waterfront.Sweeping curves rise from the ground to become walls, roofs, and generous overhangs that frame plazas, terraces, and promenades.
