Are there any new architectural space prototypes that can be discussed? LIN Architects ask this question and use it as the starting point of a wooden pavilion – an experimental project, where they explore the premise that the behaviour of different people is a very good design resource for architects. By observing and understanding the behaviour of people, designers can discover all kinds of possibilities of space. Key features include ergonomics, Proxemics and Behaviourology. Interestingly, the study explores new spatial elements in response to the various design elements surrounding a space. Introspective and rhetorical to some extent. Do engage with this research and share your opinions with us.

Definitely, design thinking puts a spin into the planning of a project, and this is what marks its individuality. This is the high point of our cover story this week. Inculcating the spirit of valour and the rigour of a highly disciplinarian regime into children as young as 11-years, the design of this proposed army school tops the ultimate onus on the architect as he carves out the best for the future of the country.
