In Chennai’s Adyar, a new apartment demonstrates how contextual design and material honesty shape contemporary interiors. Set in the dense neighbourhood of Adyar, South Chennai, this four-bedroom apartment responds with sensitivity to climate, context, and client brief. Designed by Cartwheel, the interior scheme negotiates both functionality and individuality within the rigid envelope of a builder’s shell, elevating it into a tactile, light-filled home.
