What happens when a home is organized around portals, courtyards, and connections to landscape? Designed by inventarchitects, House of Portals is a 8,500 square-foot contemporary residence on an 8,880-square-foot plot in Erode, Tamil Nadu. Located within a predominantly agricultural, low-density setting, the design responds to its flat terrain, hot tropical climate, and traditional Vaastu and Manayadi planning principles.
