As cultural buildings increasingly move beyond enclosed performance halls, architecture is being asked to operate as urban infrastructure—activating public space, shaping movement, and extending cultural life into the city. The new Lampegiet Theatre in Veenendaal will adopt this expanded role, positioning itself as a spatial system embedded within everyday urban rhythms.
