Taking inspiration from the traditional Sala, an open pavilion found throughout Thailand for resting or gathering, LUKSTUDIO transforms an inconspicuous corner into a leisure garden… Reinforcing the hospitality concept of an “urban oasis”, the designers renovate the outdoor area – a transition space that guests traverse through to enter a hotel lobby - by referencing a cultural concept to reinstate an emotional connect. Two all-weathered pergolas and a new glass barrier with a bamboo screen anoint the redesigned landscape filled with layers of leafy vegetation.
