The Rammed Earth Residence!

Conceptualised by Hiten Kakadiya of Aayam Architects in collaboration with Hunnarshala Foundation, this expansive abode is a feat of applaudable technical execution. Set in Bhuj, the most arresting feature of the architectural method here is the construction of a 23-feet-high monolithic single-cast rammed earth wall, offset with a brick masonry plane of the same height. The architectural articulation and intangible homely energy of this abode are due in part to the shared aims of the homeowners.
