Reviving the Freestanding Range: A Return to Integrated Cooking Systems

midea cooking gas range

All-in-one cooking system designed for faster, more controlled everyday use.

Midea’s freestanding gas range revisits an all-in-one cooking format once common in the 1980s, reintroduced today with updated performance and usability. Combining cooktop and oven in a single unit, it offers a practical alternative to built-in hobs, with added flexibility and capacity.

The XpressGrill infrared burner delivers strong, consistent heat for faster searing and even browning. A dual-ring XpressFlame burner improves heat distribution, allowing precise control across cooking styles.

The oven features a slimmer burner to maximise usable space, along with a rotisserie for even roasting. Together, the design reinterprets a familiar typology—bringing speed, control, and convenience into a single, efficient system.
