Out-of-box approach to harnessing renewable energy | Building sustainable micro-environments| Resonating with children via interior design

Dear Reader,

There are a few architects and designers who leave a deep impact on your psyche. One such is architect Margot Krasojevic from London. With a focus on encouraging cross-disciplinary dialogue to re-evaluate existing building typologies considering environmental, social, and technological change, her approach is not just scientifically controlled but refreshingly, and amazingly out-of-box! Check out the cover story. This time, Margot designs a fog harnessing spa and irrigation plant that mimics the landscape of the place it resides in – Ilam, Nepal.

Besides this strong architectural statement is the other one from architect Sanjay Puri, who continues to leave his mark on scale, sculptural extrusions, and climate-smart architecture with these luxury residential buildings in Surat, Gujarat. And we begin a three-part series on the impact of the interior environment on the holistic development of the child, collated for us by specialist children’ spaces designer Kajal Gaba.

Enjoy the read and leave us your feedback.

Warmly,

Savitha Hira
