[ad_1]

It feels good to be acknowledged. As part of the Make in India Week, Indiaartndesign(dot)com was invited to conduct a workshop on the ‘survival of Indian traditional art and craft in the digital era’ under the aegis of ADI – the Association of Designers of India Mumbai Chapter. Curated by celebrated portrait painter Gayatri Mehta, who gave a live demonstration at the Make in India Centre, we were overwhelmed by the moving crowd of 150+, who thoroughly enjoyed themselves as participants and onlookers! Check out the coverage in our trending story…

Speaking of acknowledgement, our bent this week has been on individualist synergies that have a deep-rooted connect with practices of yore. Jeremy Cole and his ceramic magic; Ritu Dalmia’s new cafe; and Collage Architecture’s signature bungalow in Bengaluru are stand-out examples of a strong mind-set to dream and accomplish.

How to wear your white shirt crisp and breezy – check out our style tips.

Until next week…

Warmly,

Savitha Hira
