Caribbean villa with a courtyard!

Studio Saxe works on its signature premise “nature leads design” to craft a contextual Caribbean villa on the coast of Limon, in Costa Rica… The sprawling residence is rooted in the landscape, the spaces following the gentle slope of the contoured land. A series of repeating triangles form 5 hipped roofs with flat overhangs as the house is erected modularly on short stilts. Individual private and public spaces enclosed through walls and glass into self-contained units constitute individual pavilions, opening out into the landscape.
