A window to Louis Kahn’s sombre monumentality

With its striking facade, the architecture of this residential building by Amit Khanna Design Associates is beautifully reminiscent of Louis Kahn’s distinctive form-making. In Safdarjang, New Delhi, the project, raised on stilts, comprises four apartments while being ensconced by residential buildings on either side.
