In Almaty’s Ermensai Village residential development, this house transforms an open-plan shell into a 150-square-metre townhouse designed around the owners’ extensive art collection. Anastasiya Kazakova designs the interior and spatial plan across two floors of about 75-square-metres each, balancing communal and private spaces.With more than 30 works by Kazakh and Soviet-era artists, the collection becomes the starting point for the interiors.
