Allartsdesign transforms an abandoned landmark into a contemporary restaurant guided by its inherited geometry. In Makhachkala, Russia, the former Baron restaurant re-emerges as a contemporary house of hospitality. Allartsdesign retains the original three-storey cylindrical structure and its open terrace as the main volume of the project, defining its identity and spatial logic.Circular plans resist conventional hospitality planning, prompting the architects to organise movement, sightlines and dining around the building's continuous curve.
