Prashant Parmar Architect reimagises a long-inhabited Ahmedabad plot through vertical planning and a central void, demonstrating how compact urban sites can continue to support changing family aspirations. Families often outgrow their homes long before they outgrow their neighbourhoods. In Paldi, Ahmedabad, a family with roots extending over four decades chose to rebuild on the same 1,187 sq. ft. site instead of relocating.
