As we delve deeper into the discipline of design, we realise that cross-disciplinary influences, however small, play a sizeable role in one’s approach to a problem. In the project by identity architects Ippolito Fleitz Group, you will see how the interior architecture, the textile design – an aspect of the carpet-maker and his intent (marketing) come together, blurring the boundaries of the different fields into one, and influencing human psyche as a complete picture. A must read. We thoroughly enjoyed this project.

Our cover story too – the floating viewing platform up in the Alpine mountain range is another such architectural exercise that brings together different aspects, converging in a singular feeling of awe. Another project – a large home in Bengaluru by The KariGhars works on merging mid-century modern with contemporary sensibilities.
