House for curious minds| Free range workplace design| COVID shield for community use| and more

Dear IAnDian,

We humans have a consistent desire to experience out of box situations. Situations that the adventurer in each of us can resonate with.

Driving a constant need for betterment of the existing, are the three projects we bring to you this week: the House for the curious mind – a refurbished cultural centre in Amsterdam that is contemporised with great respect for its historic references and influences alike. A sensitive, beautiful makeover.

An adaptive reuse project in Vienna that transforms an old bank building with its oversized concrete vault into a free range editorial office cum TV studio for a media house, playing on open plans and non-designated areas as the key to creative expression.

Lastly, our cover story, Amit Aggarwal flagship store that has its interior styling complement its core essence – an unusual style of drape and silhouette.

Please don’t forget to share your feedback,

Warmly,

Savitha Hira
